Such a special place for mass in this place of so much Texas history and legend. The Cathedral has been very well maintained over the years. Come to mass early and stay late and enjoy the holy presence that God bestows on all who enter.

A wonderful place for worshipping. Being the oldest cathedral in America, maybe all would enjoy this historical place. Just do it.

It is not really heralded in all the tourist info and we found by accident. Incredible architecture inside and out. I have toured churches all over Mexico and Central America and this is the most beutiful one i have ever seen.

This is one of the oldest active catholic churches in the country, so remember to be sensitive when viewing this beautifully historic building as some are there to pray. Amazing architecture! Beautiful altar area. One of a kind wooden carved statues toward the front.

We were here during Thanksgiving week and attended a service in the cathedral that was wonderful. A lot of ritual with the Catholic Priests.

Yes. It is not too far from the Riverwalk, in what is called the Main Square. I felt very safe. It is worth seeing. Enjoy!!

They are just inside the front door, on the left, before you enter the church proper.
