We were advised to see this film prior to going to the Alamo. It is an enthusiastic production, and there is no doubt as to who the heroes were! The film runs 45 minutes, so is quite expensive, but it does give some background into the Alamo. It also helps to explain the importance of the Alamo for the residents... More

We watched the Alamo movie. It was a good history of the battle but I thought $12 each was a bit high. If you have time it's good but it's not a must see.

I saw the movie before going to The Alamo. I'm glad I did. It made visiting the historical site more real. They did a good job with the movie. In about 45 minutes it not only explained the battle and its significance it gave some insight into the human aspect of that time. It is shown in an Imax theatre... More

We went to watch an actual IMAX movie but got distracted with another regular movie in the normal portion of the theater. I was originally irritated because I had movie theaters in my home town so it was nothing new but holy smokes that theater was nice! Granted in Austin we are used to getting served dinner with the movie... More

This is a novel way to view certain movies. The large screen experience is probably great for 3D but for a few amazing scenes that capture the big picture, well I can't say it's worth the extra ticket price. All in all, this is a movie theater and there truly are cheaper places to watch a movie.

This was a nice experience. We visited with family and decided to go to a Movie. They wait on you in this theater and it was actually pretty good food, and also cocktails. Seating was ok. They do not tolerate cell phones or talking once the movie starts and that is great, more theaters should adapt their policies.

The Alamo movie is historically accurate and is a great piece of cinematography! Great acting and a well written script make this movie a must see for history buffs and those interested in Texas History.

Very expensive and boring. You can find a YouTube video that fills you in on what happened at the Alamo and save a ton of money. If you can afford it, I recommend the movie as a good way to take a break from the heat and crowds.

We were unaware that this theatre had reserved seating. The man at the ticket counter did his best to get us close together. If you have a large group I recommend booking early. This movie was full up. The seats themselves were fantastic! Recliners that allowed you to get the most comfortable position for you. Food from the concessions was... More
