Beautiful memorial

Very well done memorial any Vietnam veteran should see. The medic caring for his fallen buddy looking up for the helicopter. Look in that direction he is looking at the American and POW-MIA flags such a moving sight to see. As a Vietnam veteran it was the best memorial I have seen other than the wall

Very moving memorial!

This memorial is located in the same small park as the Korean War Memorial, and of all the memorials I have visited in my life is probably the most moving and profound. Over 60,000 men and women lost their lives fighting in this war, and their names, ranks, serial numbers, branches, and dates of service are all contained in an air tight container inside the memorial. The detail on the statute is amazing- from the details on the fallen soldier’s face, the medic’s, and their clothing etc is so awesome! If you are in the area, I highly recommend you visit!

Moving Memorial

Moving memorial of Vietnam vets and those KIA/MIA. The massive bronze statue of the soldier looks agonizingly at the center mast of the MIA and KIA flags. Very much worth seeing

Moving tribute to our young soldiers.

Very moving statue done by a fellow Vietnam Veteran. Very life like and it captures the feelings of anguish of a soldier who couldn't help his friend. Which happened a lot over there. A must see.
