The free tour should be free- it's really only 3 rooms! They are super pretty though and worth seeing. The real reason to visit is the restaurant, which I'll review separately.

We always plan on a trip to the Guenther House when we go to San Antonio. The breakfast is excellent and hearing the history of the house and mill add so much to a visit. I always visit the gift shop and send home some...More

They do NOT take reservations. We made the mistake of getting there after 10am on Sunday and it was 1.5hr wait. Our group decided to go elsewhere. Great gift store.

Everything they make is delicious, but since they ARE a part of the Pioneer Flour Mill it shouldn't be a surprise that the baked goods are to die for. That includes waffles and biscuits, which are light and ever so fluffy! Chicken Salad is great,...More

Went there for breakfast on a cold rainy day, so we had to sit inside. The place was very crowded and noisy, since everyone had to sit inside. The breakfast was nice, but not the best ever.

Super cute and historic breakfast/lunch locale. Biscuits are huge and great! If you go on weekend, get there early; wait times can become long. Tables are small and they make you feel a bit claustrophobic. The coffee is great! Purchase some from the in-house shop....More
