This eatery is located at the original area inhabited by the Pioneer Flour Mill. I've been for breakfast and lunch and a private party and each visit resulted in delicious cuisine and a truly San Antonian experience. The San Antonio River just across the street...More

A long-standing SA tradition, breakfast at the Guenther is a treat with a setting on the river at the foot of the beautiful King William District. Weekends are especially busy and reservations are not taken, so a wait mid-morning of an hour or more is...More

Love this place, 2nd or 3rd visit. Shopping, museum, free coffee while you wait, pastries, breakfast and lunch avail all hours that they are open! Reservation recommended.

Food was excellent. I had chicken tacos with special gravy. Delicious! My wife had packed made with the special flour that the Guenther family mill makes. We were both pleased.

What a treat! A great lunch in a historic house. Reasonably priced, attentive service, and tasty comfort food. Worth repeating and going out of your way

After a couple miles of walking along the river walk and through the King William historic district we stopped for a late morning snack. We were not really too hungry but tired and thirsty. We just split an excellent BLT with avocado and along with...More
