We hopped the trolley and went there and had lunch - while on the trolley, the driver told us about the place and said it was worth eating there - he was correct.

parents drop off kids on way to work and pick up after work...free babysitter....the kids are in groups and use foul language and loud and obnoxious running thru park without any adult supervision. We bought season tickets every year...we no longer even go to the park due to the complete disrespect to adults with families in the park. we reported... More

Love taking out of town visitors (and local buddies) to the GH. The museum is interesting and the food is delicious. Historic and yummy. What more can you ask for.

This resturant is very popular with locales-We had several people tell us we had to go there-best in town etc. It is a nice place located in a historic district. The service was very good and so was the food, but the menu is limited and the wait times long. Did not meet our expectations, not worth the 1 hour... More

OK, I will admit that when a restaurant does not take reservations I usually pass and if I do try it and the wait is over about 20 minutes I go elsewhere. Well, due to the Alamo Bowl and the holidays, the wait at 10 a.m. on Thursday was 2 hours! However, we toured the museum and the Guenther house... More

Highly rated breakfast restaurant in San Antonio. It lived up to its press. We arrived around noon after a wonderful stroll through the King William district. Found the wait was almost an hour and a half. The maitre d suggested arriving between 7 and 9 a.m. We returned the next morning. Food and service lived up to its reputation and... More

Had breakfast after a 30 minute wait. Biscuits were terrific but whole experience was over rated. Would not return.

beautiful grounds for waiting, nice benchs, casual tables/chairs to enjoy coffee while waiting, checkin is easy, they have pagers to call you when table ready, coffee is very good, brunch selections are really good, serving staff is comfortable and attentive, a "come back and visit place" again and again!!!

This is a regular on my schedule. A beautiful weekend morning will get me to Guenther House. Everything is delicious. And I'm slowly making my way through their pastries.

This was my first biscuits and gravy breakfast. If I lived in San Antonio it would not be my last. As it was these big and fluffy biscuits had me coming back the next morning. I'm an early bird but this placed was jammed when I left both weekday mornings. Sunday brunch must be a madhouse, and why not? The... More
