open boat so pick a cool, cloudy or mild day. the guides are very knowledgeable and each one tells the history a bit differently. this is a really good way to spot places you want to visit on your own.

The City of San Antonio has done a marvelous job of incorporating the San Antonio River in its planning for the shops and restaurants and other activities along the River Walk. When you take the cruise, the guide explains where the original river is and...More

Lots of history on this river. The old Pioneer Flour Mill, Blue Star Arts District and Guenther House are all along the river. At Blue Star there are some tableaus with some of the story on it. Get away from the crowds here!

this is a great must see, very clean, very well done, the city has done a great job incorporating the original river, with the storm and planned additions it is excellent.

Stayed on the river. Enjoyed morning walks along the river every morning. Mostly quiet at that time with just other exercisers. Was much busier later in the day and on the weekend. Enjoyed the quietness of walking down by the dam and lock.
