We stayed in the crowded areas for safety. The ducks swam around in the river. Ferry boats floated by with dozens of tourists. We shopped a little, walked a lot. We enjoyed a pina-colada sans the alcohol. It was a fun evening.

Lots of shops and eateries, definetly too much to see and do in a day! Loved watching the river boats maneuver the canals. Lots of fun and informative as they give you lots of info about San Antonio on the boat tours.

I have been living in San Antonio for three years now. I walk every day on the San Antonio River walk and depending on what is that I want to experience that particular day I choose my route along the river. It goes for miles. If I want peace and quiet I walk from the Tobin Center to the Pearl... More

Must go at night and especially in the christmas season when they have all the lights going. Most of the restaurants seem good but definitely touristy.

The best time to visit the San Antonio Riverwalk is right after Thanksgiving when they turn on the Christmas lights. The lights stay on till the the Feast of Three Kings. The place is illuminated my millions of lights, it turns the whole place into a wonderland.

When you take the stairs and go down to the river it feels you are going from one world to another, it is just a paradise like landscape down there. The cool weather, fresh water, restaurants, art, and artistic activities are just amazing, a must to see in your life time.

This is a great place to walk around and see cool things. A lot of tourist shops and restaurants along the riverwalk but there are also places to go and just sit and enjoy the river. Highly recommend.

Was attending a conference and this was a great location. Many great places to eat and drink along the river walk. Would definitely visit again for a weekend vacation or more.
