I specifically wanted to come to this museum to see their Monet. I was very disappointed when after coming from the east coast I find out the majority of their exhibits were closed. I feel like they should offer a discounted rate in such situations....More

More than half, more like 75%, is closed...very disappointed. We drove 20+ minutes to visit...saw none of the galleries we had hoped to see...museum should be closed completely. Beautiful building, but most disappointing.

While with Road Scholar were take to the McNay Art Museum and were overwhelmed ithe the beautiful building, the outstanding art collection and lovely docent who took us on a tour.
