We took my 8 year old son who really didn't want to stop playing at the park to watch a show. He liked the play so much that he wanted the book afterward.

We saw a play put on by this theater right on the river walk on Saturday evening! So much fun! So much talent! Not sure if they do this every weekend, but there were probably close to 1000 people enjoying this performance! Very cool!
Over the last few years we have had the pleasure of attending five plays at this theater, and every single one was spectacular. The plays are based on children's literature so they are perfect for everyone. We have seen Rumpelstiltskin, Shreck, James and the Giant...More
We attended the children's theater play ROXABOXEN over the weekend with grand daughters ages 5 and 7. The theater may be somewhat old but there is plenty of leg room and seats are of average comfort. There are no bad seats. Prices are reasonable to...More
The Magik Children's theatre is in a fantastic part of downtown San Antonio. It is adjacent to not only the Tower of the Americas, but La Villita and a park with a great playground. The theatre itself is a no frills establishment which only adds...More

We enjoyed the magic show. The tricks were great, and left us wondering. There was a parking lot right by the theater for $10. The magician, Scott Pepper was a great performer, funny and talented. Highly recommend as a nice way to get out of...More
We have had season tickets the last 3 years and I can only think of two shows we didn't just love. They have a great variety of humorous, musicals, and touching plays. I love that they come from books and usually have a twist to...More
