A beautiful and stunning area along the riverwalk, especially in the evenings. The weather is perfect in April

You'd have to be fairly energetic to walk the entire 14 miles (around 25 kms in our currency) but in the week we've been here we've dipped in and out and discovered that this quite superb faciility has a number of faces. At the dead-end...More

We went here in the afternoon and then again at night, spending a lot of time walking all around, eating lunch (and later dinner), and taking a boat ride. Had ice cream a couple times, too! The weather was perfect and we really enjoyed it.

The river walk is a walkway one story below street level along a developed river area. There are several restaurant areas and other points of interest. The river walk is the center of the night life. Once you leave the downtown core the restaurants fade...More

Overall a good time for everyone, come during the middle of April for Fiesta or during Christmas for all the ambience.

Gorgeous river walk with huge commercial stores, hotels, restaurants and bars on the river. The Alamo is connected too.

We made a special trip to San Antonio just to check out the River Walk and it did not disappoint. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time (3-4 hours) to walk or boat this river. Eat at the restaurants and enjoy the view. It's...More

We walked the River Walk almost every day of our trip (usually more than once). Sometimes the crowds waiting for tables at the restaurants made it hard to pass and sometimes the people coming towards you made it difficult to pass even single file which...More

Whether you are just walking around the River Walk or stopping some place to eat or shop, no words can express how beautiful the River Walk is. You feel like you are traveling to multiple countries. (PS watch out for all the pigeons lol)

There are 3-4 locations around the "loop" on Riverwalk where the barge cruises board/deboard. Tickets are $12 to $6 depending on the age/status of the passenger. The basic tour is about 40 min with 25-30 passengers on each... More

There are hotels very near the River Walk but we stayed north of downtown so I have not been inside any. I would think that you could find something along the River Walk that is reasonably priced as long as no major event... More
