Definitely worth a visit - a modern museum done really well. Didn’t get to explore all the exhibits but what we saw was well presented.

Exhibits include dinosaurs to current times. Emphasis on the early settlers of the area. You will enjoy the grounds - beautiful surroundings along the river. Admission is free on Tuesdays 3-8 pm.

We planned to go here on the one day it was a bit rainy during our vacation and it was a great time. My son, 3.5, especially loved all the dinosaurs and I think we went back to the dino dig about 5 times! Lots...More

Enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Witte. Highly recommend the museum for adults and children. The exhibit on the early peoples of the Lower Pecos River valley is awesome!

We enjoyed this museum and would like to have spent another day here. There was so much to see and do. I really like that it was so spread out and you could enjoy the outdoor area as well.
