Take the ride in from Salem to Downtown Boston- Rowes Wharf. Take the heat out of the summer with a simple ticket for an ocean ride and a great seat for scenery. Who knows, you might even spot a Harbor seal.

Definitely walkable - I'd say maybe 10 minutes? A fun alternative to walking would be to purchase an on and off trolley ticket. There's a stop close to the ferry. The tickets can be purchased online. Hope this helps!

I'd like to take the ferry from Boston to Salem but I not able to find the departure times on their website. I called and they said I have to purchase first then will see the times. This seems odd and inconvenient. Does anyone know about how often it runs? I want to go in the morning on a Saturday. Thank you!
