So My husband and I saw a line out the door for this place, and I have to admit, we were pretty much fooled into coming here because of that. Now, candies are not really our thing. Not that we dislike candies, but we more prefer baked goods or ice cream. The line got us! While we were waiting in... More

Okay, it's Salem so I had to use a witch reference. Salem, however, is far more than just witches. It is a charming seaside village with much history and many hidden gems, including Ye Olde Pepper Companie. It is considered "America's Oldest Candy Company" and they have some of the best sweets around. The staff was friendly and the selection... More

This is a must-do stop! First candie shoppe established in the colonies. So many treats and candies to try! My daughter says their root beer barrels are the best, and she also loves the Gibraltars - first candy made there! Lots of newer chocolate creations as well. Definitely need to stop in and see what they've got!

We were in Salem a few years ago and were able to return. Had to go back to this gem!! They have a huge assortment of chocolates, and also some delicious fruit slices which I love.

Nothing my special. Just your average overcrowded candy store. Lots of the candies sold there you can buy anywhere

Amazing candy the store is right across from the house of the seven gables museum. Great place to stop. Gets crazy crowded. Try the pistachio chocolate it's out of this world.

This is a little candy shop right across the street from the House of Seven Gables. There is no parking close to the candy shop so I would recommend going after the visiting the house of Seven Gables as that's the only parking available in the area (the House of Seven Gables parking people are ok with you making the... If you like sweets this is a must stop. Being the first candy store is just cool and the sweets are awesome. Loved the turtles!
