I've gotten into American History on a travel basis and this place should be high on anyone's list. There are very interesting gravestones and grave markers in this cemetery. On top of that, many historical figures dating to the Salem Witch Trials are buried here...More

Im a history buff so I found this to be fascinating. There are people buried here that were on the Mayflower- too cool! It's a lot smaller than I would have thought, but full of amazing little pieces of history.

Love old cemeteries like this.was very interesting to see notable people from the Witch Trials. Some stones were very worn from time and some were still very detailed. The guided tour was interesting.

This is the oldest cemetery in town and they count coming and going so the grounds don't get too crowded . We like reading the old stones so it was a good time .

See this place. If you love history you will enjoy walking through the cemetery,. It is rather sad in a way. Because so many people died out of ignorance.

This place and the Memorial are next to each other. It was interesting to see the old stones dating back hundreds of years.

I don't think dogs are allowed. The cemetery is very small and there are places to sit right outside the actual burial area, including the adjacent Salem Witch Memorial.

There is really no need to book a tour to see the Old Burying Point Cemetery, and there is a very useful map/chart at one end (check the photo I attached to my review). And do not miss the small memorial area for the Salem... More

Free to stroll through (lots of the spooky tours in the area stop by here and talk about the graves if you wanted to pay for that experience).
