Live reenactment of trial followed by tour of dungeon which appears realistic. Very worthwhile. Pleasant way to learn about the witch trials.

This was a great museum! I am very glad that I went. The staff was all very friendly and approachable. The tour was also very interesting and lively! Great overall!

The gentleman that took us through for the tour was very knowledgeable about the history of the witch dungeon lots of things to see well worth the money I would advise people who are in Salem to definitely go to the witch Museum

This museum has a live action portion that really drives home the trial experience and the placards in the courtroom are very informative. However, the most moving and rattling part is when you go down into a recreation of the dungeon where the victims were...More

We bought the combination tickets for 3 museums: this one, the witch museum and the pirate museum. This one was best, but not great. The introductory "play" was well done. We learned a lot from our guide. The tour itself of the dungeon was ok....More

Probably my favorite of the 3-combo museum (Witch History, Witch Dungeon and New England Pirate). But the combo ticket, it's cheaper and it's good to visit all 3. They put on a small play of part of the Witch Trials which is interesting and that...More

After reading the mixed reviews here on tripadvisor, I was nervous about going. I am a young adult and went with my parents. The two negative things I would say right off the bat is how expensive it is ($9 each) and the fact there...More

It was extremely hard to hear the speaker. The acting was a little cheesy, but it was interesting. Would probably not do this again. You hear the same story with just about any tour you do.

The opening act was great! The tour in the dungeon was amazing! Really gave us an opportunity to understand the torture These people went through.

More of an "experience" than a museum. Starts with a re-enactment of a scene from a real witch trial in a small theatre, very good performances from the actors! There is also a tour guide who gives you some background information and takes you downstairs...More

I would say for that age group, the witch history museum. They both have mannequins but I think smaller children would better enjoy the Witch History Museum.
