In town for a couple of days we like to find things to do that are local and out-of-the ordinary. Reading the reviews on The Gaslight Theatre sounded great but they weren't doing their usual shows on a Monday night (which was our last night in Tucson). We took a chance on taking whatever they were offering which was the... More

Gaslight Theater is a hoot. In a strip mall in East Tucson this long time staple in the city's rich theatrical history keeps on pleasing. It's a small hall with the best seats close to the stage but all seats have strong sight lines and the accoustics for the most part are good. You can order food (pizza/shrimp basket/chicken salad)... Original, quirky, and fun. The piano player Linda has amazing talent, worth the price of admission just to see her. Fun show with talented actors, 'campy' but prepare to laugh. Don't forget to tell your server that you have a birthday, or anniversary, or family reunion, or came from out of town... free ice cream!

We went to the matinee of Two Amigos on a Sunday. Although we're no spring chickens, we brought down the average age of the audience. I think you have to have grown up in the '40's or '50's to really appreciate the show as it's something us older folks knew from the era of TV. The theater isn't large, so... More

A great time participating with actors on some great parodies. Whether young or old. A great place when having out of town company. Make sure you get tickets well ahead of time the sell out quick.

I have gone to the Gaslight on several occasions. It is always great fun. The audience is invariably entertained and usually involved in one or more aspects of the production. Most recently went to the Frankenstein show. It was, as usual, enjoyable fun with lots of laughs. I tried to get tickets for the next production and discovered the shows... More

We've been going to the Gaslight for 30+ years and it never fails to give us a great evening of clean, family entertainment. The talent on stage is remarkable. This place is especially terrific if you've got friends or family visiting from out of town!

We make it a point to visit the Gaslight Theater whenever they have a new show. We took our family visiting from out of town to see "The Two Amigos". The usual question we get is "What is it?", and we aren't ever too sure how to describe a Gaslight Theater show. It's basically a mash up of a play,... More
