I am from Tucson and grew up here. The Tohono Chul park or "tea garden" is simply amazing. I cannot count the number of times I've Ben here and am a current member. This is where I bring people from out of town and visitors. The cafe has amazing food and slightly higher prices but still reasonable for the quality.... More

My partner and I loved walking the entire place on Veteran's day! It is free to get in on certain days and when it does cost is is so much less than some of the places in and around Tucson!

I'm from the Pacific Northwest, so found this botanical garden to be very interesting. I learned so much about cactus, the Saguaro, desert blooms, and sustainable watering for desert plants. I recommend that visitors to Arizona stop at this spot so that they can learn more about life in the desert. It's quite intriguing!

It's amazing how different the flora we have here is compared to the Pacific Northwest. The gardens have a fantastic collection of rare cacti and succulents, which we are glad to hear you enjoyed. Thank you for visiting and we hope to see you on your next trip to Tucson. More

We ate outside in the courtyard. Our table was dirty.. waiter was dirty. Breakfast was unedible. Home fries were swimming in so much grease that we asked waiter for a paper towel to mop up grease... so it brought us a paper towel! It was disgusting. On top of that prices were high. Will never return.

Their food is very good so lunch probably would be excellent also but have not tried lunch. There is a very interesting gift shop and an area of plant sales. There are paths to walk through the gardens

Visited Tohono Chul on 11/09/16. Fantastic gardens! The stroll through the Saguaro cacti was very nice. Enjoyed the informative plaques along the way... There were numerous areas to sit & enjoy the plants & flowing water. Employees were working in the vegetable garden & they took time to explain what they were planting & also identified various fruit trees for... More

This Approximately 40 acres was the Home Ranch location for an early settler/ ranching family. They donated it for a preserve, its beauty and the old ranch buildings included for visitors to accurately see and experience what that area was in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The gift shop, museum, and other features make Tohono Chul a must see... More

Thank you for such a lovely review. The history of Tohono Chul is very special and unique. The Wilson Family's gift was a truly generous gesture and we work to honor that spirit and mission everyday in the gardens. Thank you for visiting Tohono Chul and we hope to see you again soon. More

The gardens are wonderful, but equally as good are the gift shop and nursery. Be sure to eat in the onsite restaurant. It is fabulous and the ambiance incredible, especially outdoors. The Christmas festivities there are a must do.

It is hard to believe that this botanical garden is within the city limits of Tucson. The paths are very well laid out. There are many varieties of native cacti, trees, and shrubbery. We have eaten at the cafe several times and have been quite pleased with our meals. The setting is quite lovely. There is a nice gift shop... More
