We didn't think $13 per person was worth it since we didn't have the time. So we walked through the greenhouse/nursery and the gift shop. Both were nice and a good use of our 30 minutes.

Lovely botanic garden in a most inconspicuous place in the city! It's small but that makes it very walkable. Because of the size you're able to see all of it without having to spend an entire day. Many lovely plants and cacti, along with some...More

Lots of plants from the area, and I believe the Sonoran Desert as well. There are various short trails that me and her about. It's fine... But I don't really get why anyone would take the time to be honest.

Thank you for visiting the gardens at Tohono Chul. We are disappointed to hear you did not enjoy your time, but understand the gardens may not be for everyone. You might enjoy our Holiday Nights events coming up in December though.

Thank you for your feedback. Our botanic gardens are dedicated to plants of the Sonoran Desert, which explains why you saw so much cacti. Being a nature preserve also makes us a spot for wildlife found in the desert, such as rattlesnakes. Our grounds crew...More

Yes. The trails are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair, and there are ramps into the main building and restaurant. The gift shop would be too tight for a wheelchair, I think.
