The park is notable for Silverbell Lake and the off-leash Dog Park and facilities. The lake itself is about 1 mile in circumference. The limited vegetation around the lake allows for a pleasant breeze and evaporative cooling, especially pleasant during these hot summer months. The...More

Nice place to visit. You can walk around the lake and can watch the local "fisherman" sitting on their chairs chilling out and waiting if some fish will show up. Weekend looks it is for family with barbeque and children playing around. I saw mostly...More

Lake views, a good place to go for a picnic, interesting lakeshore, lots of birds, mostly pleasant quiet on weekdays (weekends they fly some radio controlled model airplanes), a mostly quiet enjoyable place for family picnics.
