The Long Island oyster festival is right here on the waterfront. It's a great weekend with craft stands, pumpkins, desserts, drinks and lots of seafood--of course oyster. It's a fun family time.

Great place to rent paddle boards and or kayaks! There are plenty so no worries if its a crowded beach day. Tip: It's not that cheap, so make sure you have enough money. They charge by the hour.

The Waterfront Center is a boat rental and children's education program center. Rest rooms are located in another building. There is a great view of the bay from the parking lot. Not sure what we expected, but that was not it.

We provide life jackets for all of our program participants and paddle renters. The best place to park will probably be the OB Train Station which is also called Fireman's Field.
