Our guide was Emily, and she did a very good job -- bubbly and full of stories. We learned a lot about the Stanley brothers and how and why the hotel was built. We walked around the inside but it was pouring out, so that...More

I love this place! We came and took the tour and it was very informative and very fun. We got to see the bar in room the inspired Stephen king to write shining movie. It was also used for the filming location for the 90s...More

We did not stay at the Stanley, but we did have dinner and a ghost tour. Abbey was our tour guide, and from the start she was very enthusiastic and engaging. You could tell she really loved her job and communicating with the spirits, and...More

The Stanley Hotel Ghost Tour (SHGT), was fairly interesting but not worth $25.00 a person for a 90 minute Tour. Our group of 22 thrill-seekers was a mix of adults and teenagers and one tour guide. We started in the basement of the hotel but...More

We had a great tour of the hotel. Learned a lot of history. Our guide, DeDe, did a fantastic job of keeping us entertained as well as teaching the historical value of the Stanley family, hotel, and local region.

We went on the night time tour in the hope that the spirits would be more active at night. Alas, no such luck. I must say, our guide did a credible job and tried to make it interesting. But as the tour went on it...More

My new husband and I were only able to stay one night at the Stanley so I really wanted to get as much out of our stay as possible. The hotel tour is a must! Because it was a last minute thing, there was only...More

Ambience mostly, more of the ghost hunting type stuff can be done at night. Both are great but for the experience I recommend the night one ☝️
