Phenomenal trip! My son and I had a blast fishing with John from Kirk’s fly shop. Very professional operation from start to finish. John was a fantastic guide, he was patient with my 12 year old son as he learned the art of fly fishing. We caught a bunch of fish and should’ve caught a bunch more! Great time!

Second trip with Kirk’s and I’d highly recommend them! My daughter and I had a great day in RMNP on the St. Vrain and then on private waters in the Big Thomson with Jerry! Kirk’s outfitted my daughter with everything she needed and Jerry made sure she got fish!

John took our family (husband and I, adult daughter and her boyfriend) to RMNP for a snowshoeing experience. He gave us options for our trip and did a great job teaching us how to snowshoe. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip. He gave us great suggestions for more hikes later in the week. We highly recommend this outfitter for your next trip!

Kent was our guide on two snow shoeing treks in RMNP. These were simply amazing. He did a great job for myself and a teenage daughter to really get the most out of it. The trips were customized to our abilities. He had a lot of information about the park and the areas we were in. We went to places we would not have been able to go to on our own as first timers to the park. Could not recommend more! We left we amazing photos and very fond memories.

This trip was a college graduation gift to my son. Being our first time to Colorado and our first ever guided fishing trip we didn’t know what to expect. Our guide, John, gave a choice of what kind of water we wanted to fish and we chose the smaller streams with wild trout. The learning curve took a little time, being from the foothills of North Carolina our fishing style was a little different. John patiently gave us some tips and after a few holes we were off to the races. We had a great day fishing some beautiful water and caught enough fish that I lost count. Thanks to John and the guys at shop for a great experience!

This was a great day with Tyler as my fishing guide. Tyler was very knowledgeable and knew of several beautiful place in RMNP for us to fish. I had a great day and great time and caught may fish. Mark and owner Kirk were AWESOME! Five women, two had never fly-fished before or even touched a fish all had a great experience. Mark and Kirk obviously love to teach people how to fly-fish and share their knowledge of the Big Thompson River. They kept us moving around the river so we all caught fish, changing out the rods and flies as needed. I cannot wait to return!
