They have a wide spectrum of rocks and minerals. Prices are probably average to a little pricey, but most items are average. There were several display rooms and there a lot of bins outside with quality larger rocks at $3 a pound. There is a small museum with artifacts that relate to mining and geology that we found very interesting. The rocks... More

Excellent selection of rough rock. I was there when they had just re opened after the floods. Was great to see them open so quickly. And I ordered by mail after I came home and the packages were shipped quickly.

I am a huge "rock fan". I love the selection of large rocks that they had outside and I loved how many rooms of rocks that they had. They had some "fancy" rocks that were polished, as well as some fossils. Also they had some "raw" rocks that were unpolished. I got some lovely aquamarine here as well as some... More

This is a great rock shop located along the river on the way to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Incredible variety and very nice people that own and run it. The kids will love seeing the museum like variety of rocks, crystals and fossils. Very cool place to check out some of nature's jewels.

My grandson and I both love geology and fossils, so this has always been one of our favorite attractions. I also like the fact that it isn't downtown so no parking problems. He always gets to pick out one item so we spend a lot of time just looking at everything. The owner is very knowledgeable and takes the time... More

Stopped in before leaving the park, what a pleasant surprise! Incredible selection of rocks, very organized. Loved the very large pieces of petrified wood, some were almost 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide. Would make a great conservation piece. Inside was organized as well, great setup!

Rocks. Rocks. More rocks!! Seriously, this place has lots of rocks. Opal. Crystals. Cut rocks. Uncut rocks. Purple rocks. Black rocks. White rocks. You can learn the history of the family and all about their love of rocks. Convenient location right off the highway. Free admission. Definitely worth the stop!!
