Nice paved walk alongside river with lots of interesting shops. Plenty of places to snack, eat a meal, or have a drink. Friendly people and the walk has things that will interest children too.

Definitely go this while you are in Estes Park. We went in the morning to watch the icy stream and the animals. Then at night it looks really cool with all the lights

We were here in the Fall and it was snowing, couldn’t be more beautiful! Bonus, when you get into town the shops are right there too!! Always on my list of things to do in Estes Park!!

The river running through Estes Park with its walkways, sculptures and boulders is relaxing and enjoyable. Downtown Estes Park is mainly trinkets and treats. However, the best treat was the riverwalk.

A beautiful walk along the river, nice places to stop and relax. There is a little tunnel you walk through and it has laser lighting, so cool. There was also big chimes and musical instruments for the children to experiment with.

This is really a hidden gem. It runs the full length of town behind the main street. I think it would be beautiful anytime of year. In nice weather many of the eating places have outdoor seating along the path.

Really a very nice river walk. Shops on one side and Fall River confluence with the Big Thompson River on the other. Very, very nice.

I believe you are allowed to walk them through the area and then continue on the path forward in the less congested area, but that may have changed.

There is lots of free parking at the visitors center so it is a great place to start, otherwise it can be difficult to find parking right downtown. The river walk starts right across the street from the visitors center... More
