Attractive museum with a lot of information and artifacts about the history of hit air balloons, and many more items sent into the atmosphere. Interactive features for the kids, and signs promising even mire in the future.

This is a very fascinating museum. It had so many displays of various types of hot air balloons, plus lots of its history.

It's hard not to see some of this if you are in Albuquerque during the festival as there are two launches of over 50 hot air balloons of all shapes and colors. I bought the week pass and went every day. Plenty to see and do on the grounds and you can walk very close to those on the ground... More

One of the reasons we wanted to go to Albuquerque is to see the Balloon Museum. It was a wonderful tour and museum. Greeted at the door by a volunteer guide that was very knowledgable we learned alot about the history of balloons. He stayed with us for several sections and then we toured on our own. The building was... More

Outstanding exhibits! I visit ABQ at least 3 times a year. This city never ceases to amaze me. People here for the most part are very friendly, a few of the security people need to work on their people skills.

If you want to advance your knowledge base of ballooning this is the place that will accomplish the task. Self paced and great view of the park.

Many people are familiar with the annual October Balloon Fiesta, but this museum is a way to delight in the history of ballooning year round. There’s a video, touch screen information (something very new), baskets and artifacts from original long distance balloons. Be sure to ask about the race to be the first balloon to successfully cross the English Channel... More

This is a must see event. Hundreds of balloons are out for the public to see. It is more than a one day event. Plan for 2-3 days, you will not be able to see it all. I come every year for the event and never get tired of it.
