I stopped in for a quick visit last time I was in Albuquerque. There are a few interesting things, but it would have been great to have been here at sunset or sunrise when the balloons are taking off. Otherwise, the $4 entry fee is...More

View the history of ballooning right here in Albuquerque. The museum has numerous displays of balloons dating back from the beginning of history to the latest balloons in the Fiesta. This is a must see for all ages!

We didn't get to see any balloons outside, but we were a month or so early. We did take in the displays and bought some souvenirs in the store. For the money, it was worth it to us.

The Balloon Fiesta Park is a beautiful facility, and the International Balloon Museum is a informative and learning environment. The best video was the funny description by Mr. Cutter describing his first balloon purchase and flight.

Plenty to see and a lot of hands on displays for big or small children. Beautiful location. Plenty of parking. Very inexpensive for everything you get to see and do. A lot of balloon history portrayed.

We enjoyed our time there, particularly the main exhibits and the gift shop. The docents are helpful. The price is better than reasonable. We left with knowledge and appreciation we hadn't had although the movie is meh.
