The BioPark is amazing for all ages. Can’t say enough about the beautiful gardens , the ants and the naked mole rats, too! The aquarium is great too. Spend as much time as you can.

Not as big as some, but well-kept exhibits. Well organized, with good variety. You can but a package that includes this, the zoo, and the botanical gardens.

There we were--two grandparents with three young grandchildren (ages 4 1/2, 3, 1 1/2) in tow. Our mission: to provide Momma & Daddy with a getaway and ourselves with a Grandkids getaway. The ABQ BioPark Aquarium is the perfect place to accomplish this mission. Mind...More

I am from the west coast and never thought I would see a nice aquarium over 1000 miles from the nearest ocean. I was wrong. Great aquarium with lots of sea life and adequate viewing and touch tank. Nicely done with ecological features to promote...More

We try to visit every Aquarium we are near. All so different, depending on the state some times. This is a nice one, not one of the largest we've been to, but most enjoyable.

Along with the Rio Grande Zoo and a nationally-ranked botanic garden, the BioPark Aquarium rounds out the ABQ BioPark experience. For its size and location, the BioPark Aquarium is nicely done. However, I recommend saving it for last, only because it pales in comparison to...More

This aquarium is top notch, especially considering that Albuquerque is not a big city. The fish tanks are huge. There is an immersive walkway populated with eels. That will wake you up. You can sit on carpeted benches and just watch the fish in the...More

The aquarium was very nice and we were having a great time, until we reached the end and couldn't believe we had already walked through the whole thing. I bet it took twenty minutes to walk through, and we were going at a very leisurely...More

Before a concert my friend and I decided to go to the BioPark and there was a lot to see. Beautiful aquarium and gardens. I'm happy we came by! My favorite was the Jellyfish, Sharks, and the Japanese Garden.

The aquarium is on the same property as the botanical garden. It is beautifully done even though it is small. They have one of those neat glass tunnels that allow you to be surrounded by fish swimming overhead. Their jellyfish exhibits were my favorite. So...More

It's possible, but it depends on what kind of experience you want. You can just run through everything real quick if you want to rush. I like to take more time to see things. You'll probably miss the scheduled feedings of... More
