This is nothing like the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC, but I think it deserves a visit. I am not a plant person but enjoy the outdoors and this is a nice outdoorsy place to go within the city. Visited a few times last summer and fall. They have special events like the Fall Rose Bloom Exhibition, Cider Festival, etc.... More

Whether it is the spring butterfly garden or the River of Lights in December, there is always something beautiful to see at the Botanic Garden. I enjoy the many areas devoted to specialty gardens, such as the heritage garden, the Japanese garden, rose garden, and many more. Not to be missed is the children's area which is fun and whimsical... More

Bugarium and the children fantasy garden are note to be missed. We also took the train ride that goes around the park.

This is a large space and contains many fabulous and diverse floral exhibits, so be sure and plan accordingly. It would be easy to spend an entire day here between the botanic garden and aquarium. Although some of the paths are gravel, there is decent access for wheelchairs as well.

Spent all day here with friends. The gardens are beautiful and there is so much to do. Go with a camera, sunscreen, water, and sunglasses and prepare to enjoy a very peaceful day.

This is a lovely, small botanic garden on the same grounds as an aquarium. Nice combination. There us a train on property to take you to the zoo and beach area. We had lunch in the Shark Reef and it was exceptional good and fresh for an attraction cafe.

Visited in April so all flowers weren't blooming yet. It did have a nice layout and was a nice place for families to visit.

I wish I could have had more time to spend there. I believe this is the crown jewel of Albuquerque. Free parking, discounts for seniors. Just beautiful. I went early, and just might have been able to stay all day, even without the aquarium. They have laid it out very well so that it seems much bigger than it is,... More

Albuquerque's Biopark offers a variety of interests. The botanical garden covers the range of habitats found in New Mexico. The aquarium tells the story of the Rio Grande river as it flows from its headwaters to the Gulf of Mexico. The zoo has many animal exhibits with natural surroundings. To fully enjoy everything, plan on 2 days to explore.
