This zoo just keeps getting better and better. The natural habitats and outstanding population make this a must see zoo in the southwest. The recently added zoo tours are excellent, and the summer concerts in the park at the zoo are always a hit.

Our family visited on a Sunday and stayed for a half day. We took the train around the park, our guide was funny and shared lots of interesting information about the animals and the park. There was a new Baby giraffe and twin baby chimpanzees....More

Our zoo is a wonderful place to go for a stroll on a sunny spring morning. So many flowers blooming and birds singing. The added bonus is the animals. The zoo is well maintained and organized nicely. Very clean and pleasant. Springtime also means babies!...More

Usually I do not like zoos, but this was nice. Only $20 to see the zoo, aquarium, and gardens. It is a great family outing.

The zoo is a perfectly fine zoo. It is easy to get around, unlike a lot of zoos, and is not so large that you are exhausted trying to see everything. I would say, how can you lose? Especially with kids.

Spent the night in the Aquarium. So much fun for a family! It's a long, late night so don't plan much for the next day

The Albuquerque zoo is huge ! They have a train that will take you around the whole thing , but if you miss it then it's a bit of a wait. Tons of animals to see , different exhibits and a couple gift shops !...More

All zoo a lot of closed exhibits because of major renovation and expansion. We still had a great time. Not like the large major cities. In expensive food.

Yes. At the main office to the left of the gate. Just call ahead to make sure they have space

About a third of the zoo is still closed but is slated to open late summer 2017 if I remember correctly. No part of the aquarium or botanical garden were closed when we visited.
