We needed to go to Santa Fe and the Rail Runner was suggested. The cost astounded us. For seniors the price one-way was $4. It's a lovely scenic route.

It's a shame the schedule has so few trips. This is an extremely economical and convenient means of travel between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The views are spectacular but the backdrop is the highlight and distant with the foreground is typical railside fare.
