Really enjoyed the Block Print exhibit- a very nice selection with a great explanation of the process. The permanent exhibits were very good. Not a large museum but a nice cross section of local and international art. Very affordable- only $2 for seniors!

We visited two museums in ABQ, the Natural History Museum and this one. By nearly any standard this was the better experience. Much cheaper ($2 for Seniors, if I remember correctly), the museum combines a wide variety of art with very interesting exhibits on the art & culture of the ABQ area. Interactive features were fun. Modern and clearly laid... More

Very bright and modern with interesting exhibits etc. Had nearly completed our visit when security came up and told us we couldn't have our small backpack with us - wish someone had said when we bought our tickets (they have lockers you can leave them in). On way out did notice signs on some "room" doors about it but when... More

Very interesting, especially the film/movie section. Beautiful building also. We got free entrance on Sunday morning. We had few hours before our plane took off to Europe. Glad we came. I guess these people are very proud of ABQ.

This museum's full name is ABQ Museum of Art and History. It is really great! I believe there are 7 sections. We visited the 3 that held interest for us. But we undoubtedly would have enjoyed them all. The art collection is wonderful and presents some wonderful artists, pieces, and themes that present New Mexico very well. In the section... More

This museum, within the Old Town section of the city, is modern, well maintained and efficiently organized. There are several permanent exhibits as well as a small cafe and gift store. We did not try the cafe so no comment is offered. The permanent displays tell the story of the region. At the time we visited there was a room... More
