Very good museum that attempts to educate on the life of the civil war soldier. At the beginning, you get to choose which soldier you would like to follow thru the museum. The displays were informative and interactive. Personally, I would have preferred to also...More

Probably will be the first thing you experience when visiting Pamplin Park. Geared more for the masses as it should be. Impressive to think that so much land was donated.

Great place to see what life was like during the Civil War. During the summer of 2018, admission is only $1. Can’t beat the experience at that price!

This might as well be the ranger station for Richmond battlefield and Melvern Hill BF since there isn’t one out there and the museum gift shop sells souvenirs from it. Nice collection. Friendly staff.
