Shopping, Relaxation and People Watching

I love going to Sunrise to walk...window shopping. There are people from all over the Globe there. Dillard"s to Sears and J.C. Penny's in between. Jewelry and shoes, food court and movie...Relaxation Station for a massage. Time to go home! Life is Good at Sunrise!!!

Basically an indoor flea market

Malls used to be place to be seen and enjoy social activities with friends while shopping. Lets be honest, the #1 reason people come here is because Cinmark is attached to the mall. If they left, the mall would lose a huge chunk of business....More

Good option in Rio Grande Valley

Pleasantly surprised. Had not been to this mall in quite a while. They have done some good renovation work on it. While there are other better options in the Rio Grande Valley, it does offer the "typical" shopping venues.

Went for a quick lunch

The Sunrise Mall is part of the Sunrise Commons area. Nice place to spend an afternoon

My husband and I took a break from South Padre and drove to Brownsville. We walked the mall and saw a movie. Everyone was very nice and polite. We did not see any empty storefronts. Would definitely visit again.

Clean and Nice

I was surprised that the mall was as clean and nice as it was. Many malls in smaller towns have gone way downhill nowadays, but this one was better than expected. The movie theater and food court were nice.

Good Mall

Enough stores here to keep everyone happy, with JC Penney, Sears, Dillards and Dicks Sporting goods to anchor the other stores. There is ample parking so that finding a place to park is not such an inconvenience. And if the stores here aren't enough Ross,...More
