You can spend a pleasant couple of hours viewing a good variety of nice artwork. Did not really hold the attention of our 8-year old, but the 13-year old really enjoyed it. Overall, not a huge building, but it is very nice visit!

Went to the excellent underwater photography exhibit - Liquid Light: Photographs from Beneath the Sea. The other temporary and permanent exhibits were also good. Awesome architecture and nice windows throughout. Good gift shop also. Nice to have a place like this in Corpus Christi!

I say little because it was small. Beautiful artwork pieces were displayed. Love the time I spent there but again it was not quite as big as I was expecting. It was worth the trip though.

What a surprise to see an art institute of this caliber in Corpus Christi! Beautifully used space--incorporating indoor and out at times. Varied exhibits. Loved the black & white water/sea life photo exhibit!! Very enjoyable experience!!

Check Groupon before you go though. They typically run one and it's a good deal. I also remember seeing there is a discounted/free night of the week or month as well. You can call and ask which day it is.
