When we arrived and paid the girl was, less than enthusiastic. The first place we went into had some reptiles, their cages were dirty and it seemed very poorly set up. As we continued on, the staff continued to be, non friendly. But more than that alot of the plants were dead.and dried up. The "wet lands" looked like a... More

We loved our visits here and were members til we moved. Our pups loved walking there also. Beautiful, well maintained year round and educational. I LOVED their gift shop and often found many unique gifts for all occasions. A MUST visit but make sure you have mosquito repellent--it is Texas.

Lovely gardens everywhere, butterfly house, orchid and bromiliad houses and long nature trail. Parrots and other birds that you can feed. Great plant sales spring and fall. Nice gift shop.

If you love plants of all types then go. Otherwise, I would not say it is worth the $9 or the time it takes to go through the entire place. It is a fairly good size place. Maybe July is not the ideal time to go. Much of the foliage looked thirsty for water. The butterfly habitat was a disappointment... More

We went on a super humid day, so...my enthusiasm was limited. It is a smaller Botanical garden so it can be done in an hour or so.

If you ever come to south Texas you have to come here. You can see hummingbirds, buterflies, there is a sensory garden, the rose exhibition it's precious. You can take good pictures and the price you pay to get in its totally worthy.

Visited one afternoon we had free while visiting military child stationed in Corpus. Wife loves plants and gardening so for her it was kinda nice. For rest of us it was blazing hot and most of the flowers were past their prime. Grounds is a pretty good hike so if you have questionable stamina take some of the shortcuts. Price... More

I haven't been to the botanical gardens in so long! I was very pleased with the amount of work that had been put into it! Absolutely Beautiful!

It wasn't the big butterfly house & botanical garden of metropolitan areas, but it was a pleasant surprise to get out on their trails and see the animals and plants so unique to the area. The staff showed great care for the plants, animals, and patrons. We learned something and enjoyed our experience. Two hours was sufficient and it felt... More

The botanical gardens were great, lots of Elizabeth Thornton cultivar plumerias and others in bloom, scenic walks, birds, turtles, orchids. This is also an event center. Enjoyed the visit and would like to go back!
