Very good place for a nice nature stroll. See local Flora. Nice paths and not too big a place. Lots of birds including tropical birds that enjoy talking. Kids will like it.

The place was shabby and run down. It looked like a roadside attraction rather than a botanical garden/nature center. There were birds in cages to see (macaws, etc). There were a number of blooming orchids in one of the houses which IMO was the only redeeming quality.

The orchids alone made this worth the trip!!! There are assorted flora and fauna to view and even feed. Would absolutely visit again.

We paid the fee and discovered several school outings were going on. We were told by a rude volunteer we were not allowed in one of the buildings because it was closed to people except for the school group. I told her we were not advised on any places we could not view but she told us we had to... More

There is an endless walk of interesting exhibits. From snakes to tropical birds to all varieties of tropical plants. And on and on. Check the web site but certainly worth a couple hours.

Visited on a cold windy January day so not many flowers to see in the wild. The orchid house had some beautiful blooms. There are nice trails that take you out to view the natural wetlands. The rose garden looks to be in very good shape for the coming spring blooms. I liked seeing the various types of cactus and... More

We stopped by,but because it was cold we were told all animals were inside and put away. Flowers not in bloom this time of year. It was nice of clerk to tell us this and we did not waste time or money.

We were unsure of what we could do with it being so windy but we spent a good 1-2 hours seeing all the reptiles (iguana, lizards, turtles, snakes); birds - cockatoo, parrots, conyers, quakers, etc, orchids as well as wild water fowls. Yes both the humming birds and butterflies weren't in season but we did see some wild butterflies. The... More

We went to see flowers & walk. This was a very nice place to relax & see flowers & birds. We were disappointed that the butterfly display was closed for season thing it would be indoors one however was really pleased with bird collection & show. The bird show was really laid back & personal so was the highlight of... More

Lovely gardens and nature center in the midst of road construction - don't let that deter you from seeking this out for some quiet respite. There are very good trails for meandering or walking at a faster pace. I thoroughly enjoyed the orchid house - so many varieties to drool over! Several bird species on site behind cages which are...
