My daughter bought our tickets on Groupon. We were excited to go see beautiful flowers and take in some nature. We were very disappointed, half the flowers were dead and dried up. The brochure was much pretty then seeing it in person.

My husband and I (plus our two small dogs) enjoyed walking around the gardens and the trails. The roses and orchids were in full bloom. Our dogs enjoyed seeing the tortoises and the macaws (especially the one that talked to them).

As a birder, I was pleasantly surprised with the facility. I would not really call it a botanical garden. The grounds and trails are well maintained and the migrational birding was great.
