This was an opportunity to watch the release of 395 cold stunned green sea turtles that had been rehabilitated from our unusually cold weather. It was exciting to see. There were small to large turtles and they brought them up close to see and photograph....More

I hate to leave. I camped out, just me and my dog, and we loved it. It tends to get wild at night. But I thought I was safe.... kinda ;-). I can't wait to go back.

Yes, as long as you don't go crazy. If you stay on the main trail you can take any rental car. If you want to get a little bit more adventurous make sure you have a 4x4. If you don't have experience driving in sand, play... More

We saw dolphins in the bay by the Lexington & saw baby Sea Turtle release at Padre Island... there is lots of sea birds all over the area.
