The uphill is a little steep, but worth it to see the views. I was an nice little hike for a first time visitor to Salt Lake City. The views were really spectacular. I'm glad I went. Parking is on the street, no parking lot.

This vision of the founders of SLC were to have used this parcel and pinnacle to map out the plan. It is a great place to see the entire valley, and as well the Capital and grounds. The evening Sunsets also allow the view of...More

As we often do when we visit a city we have not been to before, we drive around to see what we can see. During our wandering around Salt Lake City, we went up the hill and the State Capital Building. We continued up into...More

It's a little steep going but the view at the top is very pretty. It's amazing how much the noise travels too when you're that high up. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

This historic site has a beautiful view of the Salt Lake Valley including the Great Salt Lake. This s the site where Brigham Young and some other pioneers viewed the valley and made a remarkable prophesy. To walk to the top of the Peak is...More

This is a must see attraction while visiting Salt Lake City. It's not a difficult hike, in fact I hesitate to call it a hike because it is not rigorous. It's more of an incline, but it's very brief and does not take long to...More

Perfect place to go for a hike after a long day ....plenty of trails and beautiful views. A favourite with the locals so it gets crowded. BTW you can pick up the Bonneville shoreline trail from here.

Walked up on a Sunday morning and we were the only ones. The walk up is a little steep at times - wear comfortable shoes - but quite quick. The view once you are up is pretty cool and definetely worth the hike.
