Don't pass up a tour of this building if you can. It is well worth it and completely handicapped accessible. The roof has a waiting surprise.

The LDS Conference Center was much more impressive than we thought it would be. As we entered a lady took us around for a tour of the building. The events hall (largest in the world) was awe inspiring, and so was the view from the...More
We had heard about the rooftop garden on the top of this building and wanted to see it. It is huge. Unfortunately because the pump for the water system is not working most everything was dry and dead looking in late August. Nor were any...More
This building looks big on the outstide, but just wait until you get inside! It is giganitc! The roof top garden is amazing! It is set up in a specific way, ask the tour guide, you'll be astounded!
I am not Mormon but still love bringing my friends that come to visit SLC to see this amazing building. You have to take a guided tour and be escorted. The tour can be as long or as short as you wish. The whole temple...More

Saw the choir perform on Sunday morning. It was great. The 21000 seat building is huge and is used in the summer months. The choir and orchestra are nothing but first class.
21.000 seats in this conference center and approximately 7.000 organ pipes. That is quite extreme and in general always fully or overbooked. Get a (free) tour and be informed about this center; enjoy the views from the rooftop.
Hearing the choir practice in the magnificent auditorium was awesome. The building is beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised when our tour guide gave us the info and you of the building and some contents but no push to hear the mormon message.
