Huge beautiful park. With amazing playground for young kids with swings, splash pad and more. Lots of shaded areas to sit and chill

The is no longer maintained like it use to be. The city has allowed homeless to move in and trash the place. My family and I will no longer be coming here. Do not go here unless you want a terrible experience!

This park is great if you want to excercise around it, bring your child to the playground, or picnic. There's homeless people that camp out here though

fun to people watch, walk, run, or just sit to watch the ducks. There are always people around, different tracks for your needs.

We were surprised at how large this park was. Lots of green space, shade from beautiful old trees, and views of the mountains. Our kids loved the playground and the aviary located within the park. It was a relaxing morning here.

We were staying in a VRBO nearby so a morning walk took me to Liberty Park. Few people were there at 7:00am on a Sat but it was a great place to spend 30-40 minutes.

With this whole lockdown, I've been getting out in the great outdoors far more than I ever have in my entire life. While spending a little time at my condo in Utah, I decided to take a stroll around Liberty Park. It's not the most beautiful park, but it's free, spacious, and a nice place to enjoy some fresh air.

I spent an hour walking around on the nice paved trail, enjoyed watching the ducks in the pond, and took my time observing all the cute dogs who were enjoying the green, open spaces.

The pond is kind of gross and filled with lots of green moss, and you wouldn't want to sit around near the water line because there are pesky mosquitoes buzzing around (see, I told you I'm not outdoorsy at all), but there are plenty of little nooks and crannies where you can find a peaceful escape from the bustling world.

There are tennis courts, volleyball, basketball, an aviary ($12 admission), and some pretty gardens on the property. Lots and lots of free, easy parking.

This seems like a really nice place to run, if that's your thing. The park is free and open very late (11 pm), which is pretty cool.

The perimeter sidewalk is about 1.5 miles, around grassy areas, some shady and some sunny, past tennis courts, a pool, a merry-go-round, an aviary (reviewed separately), playgrounds and lots of open space. Conveniently located near downtown between 5th & 7th East and south of 9th South. Well maintained, though during Covid the portable toilets needed betternmaintenance.
