There was so much in Temple Square. The Temple is beautiful and the surroundings with all the beautiful garden is a must to see.

when in salt lake citty you must visit temple square, It's buildings are very impressive, tabernacle, convention hall. cannot enter the temple but can walk around it

It was wonderful to hear the organ and the recital where the organist demonstrated The Tabernacle’s accoustics. Almost and language you speak, someone at Temple Square can answer your questions and/or give you a tour.

We made an online reservation for the 45 minute free tour. This was after we walked around the square on our own the day before. It is nice to have a guide to explain things. Plus you can ask questions to learn more about LDS....More

This is ground zero for seeing the city, especially the role of the church in the city's history. You can park at the nearby City Creek Center for 2 hours free.

We don't know much about the Mormon culture, but Temple Square is quite something! There are lots of tour guides and information available. You are not allowed in the temple unless you are Mormon, but they have a model of the temple in the visitor...More

The grounds and downtown area of Salt Lake City are really beautiful. I thoroughly enjoy downtown SLC and the temple square area. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Very clean.
