This is a perfect place to take loved ones. Even in wheelchairs. I took my father (paraplegic), young daughter (5) and 2 teens. The hike/walk isn't too long. About 1.5 miles. The scene is BEAUTIFUL! A MUST SEE!

What an easy hike. It was very snowy but still doable! Beautiful views and bridges along the way. Kids and pets can totally do.this hike. It's tucked away and a bit hidden not very well marked where the trail begins but it goes under the freeway and through a forest of moss covered trees to a beautiful waterfall. Must do... More

I just happened to stumble upon this trail and it was well worth the hike. There were lush trees, greenery, a river and of course the falls. The entire walk is beautiful and the falls is the icing on the cake. There are a couple of small ridges and stairs that can be steep. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful waterfall. It's a 1.8-miles rd trip) hike that starts from the parking lot at Storm King Ranger Station at Barnes Point.

A friend decided I needed to get away for the day so picked me up and never told me where we were headed. We stopped on the way to grab sandwiches and drinks to take with us. We hiked to the falls and it was an easy hike. An inviting bench beckoned us to sit and have lunch while we... More

The walk to Marymere falls is relatively short and not particularly challenging. There are a couple of elevation gains toward the end but not long and not too difficult. The falls are lovely and secluded. Along the way note the primary growth trees and the undergrowth and the HUGE boulders from an age long ago. Look up to see the... More

Really pretty hike -- the waterfalls weren't the biggest hit, though. The log bridge, the trees groaning under dripping moss, and the frosted leaves and evergreen needles were just spectacular. Be aware, though, that the hike is longer than any of the various distances offered by signage: my Fitbit clocked it as 2.3 miles -- with some steep icy parts... More

Just off the highway, a short walk takes you to this pretty waterfall. It is not the biggest in the world, but all waterfalls are fascinating. Well worth a few minutes walk.

The hike to the waterfall was easy and just breathtaking. Note there is another parking lot by the lake. No need to double park
