This is an unreal shrine to the legacy left by the Allman Brothers. So much memorabilia, The Big House showcases what all legendary rock acts deserve to have in their honor and memory. Wendy toured us around and was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. That the...More

This museum is well done and I could have spent more time going over the memorabilia. You get a sheet to guide you through the exhibits and also another sheet to direct you to other Allman related sites in town. They offered a military discount...More

If your a fan of music history this is the place to go. Beautiful house filled with history and artifacts. It was great seeing where they jammed and wrote some of the most iconic southern rock songs.

Spent about 75 minutes browsing the big house - if you love their music, or are just a music fan in general you will love this. Tons of guitars, outfits, hand written lyrics and other oddments e.g. first pay check etc. Well worth the time!

I'm not a devoted fan but was interested in seeing the Big House. I don't feel the museum is for the average visitor. there are hundreds of photos without any captions and very little biographical info.

The Allman Brothers Band is part of my musical heritage. I'm glad I discovered this great museum of everything ABB, It's small, but located in the house the band occupied for a few years in the '70's. Every conceivable memorabilia, trinket, artifact, instrument of historical...More

Cutest B&B: 1842 Inn - see my review.
Unfortunately, it will be closed when we are traveling through. Is it possible to get a picture from the gate?

You will want a picture of the gates! I passed by them 10 years wondering why they were mushrooms!
