Cannon Hall Farm is a large, family run farm attraction. Sitting in the rolling Pennine foothills, it's home to hundreds of animals, waiting to welcome you to a world of animal magic. Home to one of the biggest and best equipped playgrounds in the north of England and the largest tube maze in Europe our adventure playground is one of the biggest and best in the north of England. The farm shop is famous for home produced beef, pork, lamb and a huge variety of sausages. Our on site bakery produces award winning pies and delicious artisan bread every morning. The tearoom serves delicious home cooked food. New for 2015, The Hungry Llama indoor play and restaurant adds a great indoor option with some dramatic slides and innovative play features to a day that's already packed with fun. Winner of Best Tourism Experience at The White Rose Awards in 2011, Cannon Hall Farm was highly commended in the same category in the Visit England Awards 2012. The farm won the New Innovation Award for it's new farmyard in the National Farms for Schools Awards 2015 and has been shortlisted for the Best Large Attraction Award at the White Rose Awards in both 2014 and 2015.

We spent the day here to celebrate our daughter's 1st birthday, a Friday not on a school holiday. On the whole it's an enjoyable day out for families. The farm is very accessible and easy to get round with a pram. The animals in the barns are really easy to see and nice touches of being able to give food... More

This farm is decent, however i think its wrong to charge for car parking. Its a shame you cant hand feed the animals or stroke them like you can at Wigfield Farm. There are lots of play areas but i would rather have less of those and more animals. The idea of the races with the sheep and ferrets is... More

Would recommend this venue for all ages, especially undr 5`s. Plenty to see relating to farm animals, and a huge outdoor play area. Finished off with a meal in the reasonably priced restaurant.

Varied activities from observing the animals, the baby ones at different ages, a great recreation ground, sheep racing (sometimes), shop and cafe. You can also sign out and return if you fancy a walk round the park as well.

Me and my family visit this place at least one per week and in between in the farm shop. We love it there especially now the soft play us there. However I find it very poor that I have to pay in to sit there in the soft play watching the kids whilst spending £20 on food and drinks at... More

Had afternoon tea here with my mum as there is an offer for £9.95 during May (normally £12.95). Sandwiches are nice, open bread rolls, ham and piccalilli, egg mayonnaise and salmon. Good large scones, jam and clotted cream. A slice of fruit cake, carrot cake, Victoria sponge and a little trifle. Good amount of cakes, had to take some home!... More
