We will never tire of recommending this tour of the 6 State Highway. The coast of Bruce Bay we can not say if it is the best of this road, but what if we can say that this area for us is unique and that...More

Driving through the lush green native growth along side the roads of NZ we turned a corner and found the most amazing views of the Sea with the raw power of the waves crashing up against the stop banks of the road. Truly and amazing...More

Feel the power of the open sea! There are almost always either big or very big waves. It's a nice 5-10 minutes stop to take a few pictures and stretch legs if you are driving between Wanaka and Franz Josef.

Driving and turning the corner on the highway you see the most amazing sight as the sea suddenly appears. Good parking available at the viewpoint. Can walk down the beach a ways. Be aware though that in stormy conditions the road through this area may...More

In the middle of nowhere, there is this beacon of coffee delight... A great stop between Haast and Fox Glacier. Great coffee, service and the scenery is spectacular, if somewhat windy. Visit this place for good coffee.

Please do not graffiti the stones!! Leave NZ clean and green - leave nothing but footsteps thanks. Don't mess up our country. You came here for the natural beauty - LEAVE IT THAT WAY. Vandalising tourists are not welcome.
