    Excellent family day!
Don’t be put off by the reviews about the park being run down and half closed. Yes renovations are underway but that is a reality of progress. The website shows what rides are under maintenance. Again that is a necessary aspect to have a safe experience. Yes some places are closed eg food retailers but you won’t miss out there are plenty of options still. Our family of 4 (kids 11 and 7) had such a wonderful day. At times there wee zero waits and we joked about feeling like celebrities with the park to ourselves! The animal section was so much fun and the crocodile talk was really fascinating. You feel safe on every ride. The staff are so friendly and one example was a kindly gentleman approaching our family and offering to take a photo of us all together which waa outstanding. We look forward to coming back and seeing what the park looks like when it’s all done. Thank you for a great day - I don’t often write reviews but felt obliged to as I was quite worried after I read a lot of recent negative reviews. Big thumbs up from us!
Sarah, we are over the moon to have read this lovely review from you. You really made our day! Not many can see it from a business point of view. Wow!... you are just amazing, patience, happy and understanding. Our park is undergoing a huge transformation for the better, and we can't wait for you to experience it all when it's done! Do visit again soon....Taj @dreamworld.

    Where Dreams come true
We spent an awesome day here and an evening. We arrived at opening and as we had pre purchased tickets to were able to in immediately. The park was fairly quiet as it was winter but the weather was warm and sunny. Very few rides were closed and those that were were clearly being upgraded. You could see the workers beavering away. The whole park was beautiful with perfectly landscaped grounds and beautiful natural areas where the animals are. My favourite ride were the vintage cars. Went on them five times. The almost new rollercoaster, Taipan was stunning, fast and terrifying just as it should be. The Gold Coast Coaster was a bit more gentle but just as much fun. The dodgems were pretty good. The train was lovely following the river for quite a long way. To our surprise being a Friday was the night market. We stopped on for this and purchased a delicious dinner from the food carts, finished off by an excellent Byron Bay coffee from the coffee shop. A truly wonderful and memorable day and oh we saw two stunning white Bengal Tigers. We will be back next year. The absolute high spot of our time on the Gold Coast.
What an exceptional review to read Andrew. Thank you so much for taking the time to share all the wonderful and exciting things you experienced on your recent trip here with us at Dreamworld. It's fantastic you were able to visit many of the animals as well as enjoy the rides and attractions! The Vintage cars 5 times, that's pretty a spectacular effort if you ask me!!! How good are the night markets, right!? Such a great added bonus to an already awesome day by the sounds! We are thrilled to hear that your family will have the chance to come and visit us again in the near future. We have so many exciting things coming you cannot miss on your next holiday, check out all the excitement on the way via our website. Thank you once again Andrew for taking the time to share your experience. It is guests such as yourselves that continue to make Dreamworld stay Australia's favourite theme park! ~ Sammy.

    Worst theme park
It was sad visiting dream world it used to be one of the best theme parks now it’s the worst we did it all within 2 hours. Sadly it’s not the same since that tragic accident it’s so quiet walking around no energy or fun whatsoever. They don’t open till 1030 so late when the others are 930 Food was crap. Definitely give this theme park a miss
Hi Ashleigh, sorry to hear that your visit was not what you expected, It is a shame that we did not have the chance to get your feedback when you were in the park on the day so that we have the opportunity to make things better. The park has varied operating hours during the winter months which is advertised on our website. megan@dreamworld

    Fun but pricey
Food and other extras are SO EXPENSIVE. I wonder why, because the tickets we buy are expensive too, I could understand if it were free entry. However, the lines weren’t horrendous even though it was school holidays. ABC world was nice and quiet all day which was great. So much to see. The highlight for me (a grown adult!😆) was capt. Cal Amari. Got me laughing and wondering who was behind the mic and how it is controlled! Lots of fun!
Glad to hear you enjoyed the day overall Brenda, and had some fun with Capt Cal! Hope it won't be too long until we welcome you back soon. -Max from Dreamworld

    Amazing Experience!!!!!!!
It was really, really good! We had a 6yrold who really enjoyed the rides, especially Madagascar. The water activities were really good as well, she just met 110cm so there were lots more rides she could choose from. Overall really positive feedback!!!!! Highly recommend
Thank you Sophia or sharing your experience with us! It sounds like your child really had such a wonderful day with you all. We are so glad to hear that there were many attractions you were all able to enjoy! We hope to welcome you all back in the near future to experience some of the new incredible additions coming to the park. You can find more information on our website! Really enjoyable day.
We had a really enjoyable day. Lines were good with short waits for all of the rides. Park was clean, staff helpful, parking good. Lots of food choices - Kenny's Fried Chicken was yummy.
Isn't it great KD when the lines flow quickly giving you more time to enjoy your favorite attractions over & over! We are thrilled that you enjoyed our famous Kenny's Fried Chicken! It is definitely a delicious treat. We hope that we can welcome you all back soon to create more Dreamworld memories here with us. ~Sammy

    Amazing day at Dreamworld
Had a fantastic day a Dreamworld with our big family of 10! The Sky Voyager ride is absolutely fantastic! There was something for everyone and so many rides we could all do together. The koala's are cute and the tiger show was actually very informative and impressive. We had fresh wraps for lunch which were nice and the hot chips were exactly that. Hot and salty!!! They are doing quite a few renovations so we can't wait to come back again next year!! Thank you Dreamworld staff, everyone went above and beyond to make our day wonderful.
WOW Kim, it's so nice to see that you had such an amazing experience at Dreamworld! We always strive to be a place where friends and family can create happy memories, so it's great to hear such positive feedback! Our new Dreamworld Flyer ride will open up soon, so keep an eye on the socials and visit us again soon, we can't wait to welcome you back!!! Thanks, Monty @ Dreamworld

    Great Day Trip!!!
The park was huge and I do mean that in a good way. Was blown away by the quality and quantity of the things there to do. We had actually been thinking that we would be in and out within two hours as we’re not too much into the thrill rides. It took us nearly 5:30 hours aka from the start to the very stop despite being there since the beginning of the park. From food to medium and low thrill rides…. everything was there. Add the wildlife and it becomes a recipe for a great day out. Very excited for the coming up of the latest precinct Rivertown(was still constructing when we went) and overall am pretty excited about what the park will become when it’s completed.

Fun visit but a bit on maintenance ongoing at the moment
Was a fun visit. Good mix of rides and shows. Cuddling the Koala and the tiger show were great. Some of the rides were down for maintenance which took away a bit from the experience but overall worked as a good visit for us.

Lovely place for family, plenty for everyone. queue could be long on the weekend but it's the same with all other amusement park, not a big fan of their parking lot, feels really crowded but the pedestrian walk definitely helped.
Love the LEGO display and shop on the exit, kid always get stuck there and got extra play

Had a great time at Dreamworld on a Friday (after Anzac Day). Minimal queue for all the rides, clean environment, and friendly staff.

I have very fond memories of coming here as a child and needing 2 days to do all the rides and see everything.
I was very disappointed that there were only a handful of rides open.
7 kids rides and they only went for 2 minutes max even when there were no other children waiting to get on.
The food was expensive and not up to par for the price we paid. We went while the food festival was on and the map was hard to read and understand where certain food stalls were.
The train was a let down as it only went to animal part (which was a low rate zoo essentially) and then reversed back to the train station.
Save your money and go elsewhere as this was expensive for a family of 4 to get in and was not worth the money we paid.

Wow, how the mighty has fallen. I loved this park as a child and had many fond memories. It is now so far from what it was. Awesome theatre shows, gone. Fun old school rides, gone. The place is now a sad excuse for theme park. A lame zoo area. A train to nowhere, closed rides, closed food venues, trapped passengers on a roller coaster. But! You can buy some old show bags, no doubt from recent Easter events. All this for >$100 pp. don’t waste your money.

We spent one day at Dreamworld, and the park was very busy, but there was not much in the way of lines for rides. I managed to get my children on the rides they wanted to go on, and the park was looking nice and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Disappointing experience starting at the very front entrance of the theme park.

It took us an hour and half to even get through the front gates of the theme park. We were a party of 8 trying to have a lovely day at the park - however the check in/registration process into Dreamworld seems really flawed based on the issues we have observed:

- Dreamworld (DW) Front counter guy serving our queue requires more customer service training and better awareness of others in the queue. The customer at the front of the queue was dealing with 5 grandchildren on his own. He bought one park passes for his group, but his true intention was to buy multi park passes - I don’t understand how this can be an oversight for the customer - frankly it’s clear that one park on that ticket means ONE. Anyways our main issue is with the Dreamworld customer service guy’s lack of awareness of the increasing number of people in the queue. He should have given the man the multi parks option cost, charged him the increased amount for multi pass and get the queue moving. Instead, the young DW cust service guy spent 45 minutes going back and forth trying to get this customer to agree on paying the extra charge, he also gave him too many options such as buying an annual pass blah blah blah - overall, the DW customer service seemed just ill equiped to handle difficult customers and lacked awareness… the DW person also commented - “that everyone can wait!” which frankly infuriated my family. We don’t mind waiting when it’s within reasonable time. We observed other people behind us manage to stealthy go through the side door at the entrance because of the lack of awareness of this particular staff member.

- When we eventually got to the front of the queue, it took another 20 minutes for our entry to be processed. We bought our ticket through an online travel company, and we were under the assumption that all our details would be sent to Dreamworld. However, the DW customer service guy, had to manually type in all our names and email address into the system - apparently for audit reason.

- When we finally got in not all rides were available.

Overall waste of a day… my family had a better time just going to TimeZone in Surfers Paradise…

1. Staff needs more customer service training particularly awareness of the increasing queue.
2. Seems like DW checkin system needs an upgrade! When our family visited Disneyland last year it took only 5-10 minutes to get through the gates - simple scanning of barcode! Why can’t Dreamworld invest in their technology?!

A very disappointing, dilapidated and outdated park with many rides being shut and of poor quality. The "zoo" is nothing more than cramped pens for very depressed looking animals. Poor customer support and staff. If this is Dreamworld, I hope I never have another dream!

DO NOT GO TO THE PARK, SAVE YOUR MONEY!

We have a brilliant time - it was a Tuesday out of school holidays - never waited more than 5 minutes for a ride, kids had a fabulous time. The only reason not 5 stars is some rides were down for maintenance so we didnt get to try everything but hey Im glad they are putting time and effort into maintenance to ensure safety etc
