I enjoyed that most of the shops were in walking distance. But there was hardly anywhere to eat for dinner. Not many places for breakfast either. If you're keen for brunch/lunch then there's no issue. Shop outlets were also pretty cool to look at. A lot of decor goes into each shop to make it look their own. High price... More

If you go to Mt Tamborine you have to walk the gallery walk. Have a coffee or an ice cream and wander the shops. Its not huge so don't expect it to be a whole-day activity. There are a few restaurants around the mountain to have dinner later.

Nice place to visit for the day, easier if you have a car so that you can visit other things in the area too. Nice gift shops and nice places to eat.

Visited with mum in her seventies and two kids, ages 7 and 8 years on a hot midweek day. Drive from Gold Coast was easy and only about 40 minutes. Parking is scarce - had a park in a side street quite a walk away from Long Road. A mix of alternative, arty and some almost bricabrac stores line the... More

Nothing to do on a Sunday. A drive from Brisbane to my tamborine and then on to the Gold Coast. So peaceful. Weather is cooler on the mountain looks like Tasmania as you drive along. Even our puppy had a good day out

It's Byron without the hustle and bustle. Nice chocolates shops. Nice cafes. Arty shops. There's even a German clock store. Allow couple of hours or half day for shopping

The Gallery Walk on Mt Tamborine or to be precise Eagles Heights . Offers a selection of experiences such as The Whistling Duck Village where you can buy Australian produced treats . Look at custom model cars . Explore the vintage curiosity shop and the Homely Craft and gift shop. There is even a touch of India to peruse, whilst... More

Have not visited for a few years but thought the street looked tired. We were there fairly early before most tourists and not a lot was open for a while. Did not find the shops held anything special so it was disappointing and not as good as either Maleny or Montville (Sunshine Coast Hinterland).

This is a lovely place to spend an hour or few. It is full of charming shops, cafes, small exhibitions and souvenir shops. It has this Australian cozy small town charm about it, all the while being surrounded by beautiful nature. Relax and enjoy gourmet tea and coffee, look at the tons of charming cute items in the shop and... More
