Great beach to just chill, snorkel, swim, or catch some rays. It was beautiful weather to go yoga on the sand in the am.

Nice calm part of the bay. Quite busy. Water is very clear, small waves, great for the kids. Stayed 100 metres from the beach. Loved walking along the beach. You can hire paddle boards etc.

Beautiful beach. Great swimming. Sand is fabulous! Snorkelling awesome. Would recommend for families and toddlers as safe. Can’t wait to return.

The beach was really awesome! The only downside was that the beach was a first come first serve basis. The water was very clear and the beach was clean. Small beach so there were a lot of people during the popular hours.

This beach was beautiful but the waves were too strong for kids. It does get super hot by noon. Must visit see though.

Climate may be good in December, but may be little cool. Not to worry.

You can always go get in your car and drive to Makawao which is a cool little town that is "upcountry"...or you can just walk next door to the hotel and shop at the mall.
