There were a few families enjoying the park and a small amount of people basking in the sun the day we visited. There was plenty of space for me and my fiancé to walk along the shady beach. The beach was sunny with some shaded areas. We really enjoyed our romantic day together.

We knew about this place from the HBO show... funny enough we didn't realize that when we arrive on the beach we will be right by the Four Seasons resort where the White Lotus story takes place LOL

It's a nice beach but nothing different then many other beaches along the coast here or in north Maui really - if you have it at the resort great, otherwise I wouldn't bother... considering lots of guests in this area come here for the honey moon etc. expect lots of professional photo shoot outs etc :)

TIP: free parking lot is tucked in between the resorts, unusual setup but at least that's there, there is also restrooms and changing rooms, no food/drinks vendors though as this is all resorts coastline...

Only reason you will be able to visit this beach is because all beaches in Maui are public!! This is a scallop-shaped bay, bordered by upscale resorts for Four Seasons, Marriott and Waldorf Astoria.
This beach is crowded with dozens of resort loungers and if you're not staying at one of the resorts that line the beach, then getting to this beach is painful as well. The resorts do not have public access lanes available to access the beach and you have to walk through the endless resorts to get to the beach. The public parking situation is not great either. Don’t make the mistake of thinking the beach chairs and umbrella are there for public use.
Also, good luck in moving around to finding some private more secluded spot. If you aren’t staying in one of the resort then I’d recommend to find some other beach to go to if you don’t want to feel like second class citizens invading into first class citizen’s space.

This is a lovely clean beach in a nice location. It is a bit on the smaller side; however, the coast and location make it great for kids in the group. It does have a public beach, with restrooms. No complaints here.

Great beach in a very nice location (some kind of a Beverly Hills of Maui). The beach is clean, with great sand and smooth and sandy entrance in the ocean.
There are just a few spots in the shade, but still better than other, while you can also rent umbrellas & chaise longs (50 $ per pack or 30 $ just the umbrella).
Seems like the turtles like to swim in that area as there’s a big chance you stumble upon at least one turtle swimming in the water close to the land.

It's shared between The Grand, The Marriot resort, and the villas. It's also a public beach. There are chairs that are coordinated through a beach valet and hotel guests first come, first serve each morning. The beach is so clear and calm and shallow for long! We paddle boarded, boogie boarded, and kayaked here. Even had some green sea turtles come up to say hello while kayaking. The sand is incredibly soft and has an interesting red tone.

One of the best beaches on East Maui, this was both picturesque and had all the modern facilities and convenience you want at a beach. Hotel staff were helpful despite us not being guests at the resort. Waters were reasonably calm so ok for swimming and snorkelling (best at the south end). We went kayaking which was $50 per hour for the two of us which seemed reasonable and was well worth it. For food there was a beach shack for cheap fare and high end restaurants tied to the resort.

Very nice beach where the sand was nice and soft. I didn't even have to wear water socks while in the water at this beach as I didn't have to worry about the coral reef cutting up my toes.

This was our favorite beach! We spent a couple days exploring the island and many beaches and this was by far the best. Parking is easy and free, sand is clean and water was perfect, just gentle enough for little kids to be able to enjoy it without parents freaking out the whole time. One drawback when comparing would be snorkeling. You can't complain about pure sand, and I am not but there was only sand. I have read about snorkeling way further out and along the rockier edges but I didn't get there which was fine. We loved the area and if we get the chance to return to Maui, this is where we will want to be.
