Played the Gold Course. It was interesting but nothing special. Not even good views. Staff was curt. Course is run like a machine because of the number of people that play I guess.

Played this course last week and it was a treat. Waited for the after 1pm rate of $165 and finished in 4 hours, no problem. Did not bring my clubs so add $60 for club rentals which make it an expensive 18. Probably ship them or haul them next time as played twice, unexpectantly, so $120 in rentals, $240 with... More

This was a beautiful course and played just a nice as the prior posters mentioned. The views and greens were excellent. If you are not on point with your putting then you're in for a long day. Its a hilly course so expect to hit those not so flat lies. The Emerald course has prettier views but this course delivers... More

So my wife and I live in Arizona which probably has more golf courses then any other state in the United States. This has become an annual tradition for us which my guess will slowly become a bi-annual tradition. The staff, the course, the views, it's all amazing. don't even bother going to another part of the island. The weather is... More

This course is beautiful and has the most stunning views of Maui and surrounding islands. A well manicured and challenging golf course. However, the feral cats which abound are a real turnoff to me and to the indigenous birds to whom they prey upon. Between the 6th and 7th hole a woman feeds these feral cats on a daily basis... The Wailea Emerald and Gold courses share the same clubhouse but are quite different in character and feel. The Gold course is a little friendlier with larger greens and wider fairways. It doesn't mean you'll shoot in the 70s but you're much more likely to score better. The front nine is by far the strongest with some decent elevation change... More

Gold and emerald are some of the best courses I have played in my life. They are worth every penny. I even had the chance to meet Michelle Wie there.

Stopped by to check out the golf course, which is absolutely gorgeous. Pro shop large and nicely appointed. The cart location is adjacent to the pro shop and is under a large carport area. The green fees were out of our budget so opted not to play here.

Wailea Blue is more open and accessible off the tees. The fairways are soft spongy grass and the greens are challenging. The Emerald Course was less forgiving off the tees with some very tough greens. It is a picture perfect scene hole after hole.

Played both, the Emerld and Gold Courses. I'm an average golfer who thoroughly enjoyed the visual beauty of aa well maintained facility with breathtaking holes with the ocean as a backdrop. The Gold course has more sand an is probably a little harder. I think the Emerald course had better ocean views and played a little easier, at least for... More
