We had been told that Little Beach regularly had excellent waves for body boarding...and YES it does!! Ended up visiting twice as a result! The waves are exciting to say the least! Of some note though are the following: small beach area so arriving early...More

I wish I could visit this beach again right now. We had a blast here and wish we had known about it sooner in our trip! We went earlier in the day, a little before noon. The drum circle started to pick up around 3-4pm,...More

You access the beach by going to the parking lot for Big Beach in Makena State Park. When you reach Big Beach, go all the way to the right where you'll see what looks like a 25-foot cliff. However, there is a gap in the...More

Snorkeling is awesome - great reef and excellent fish/turtles. Not worth a trip for just the snorkeling unless you are at Big Beach (right next door). Make sure you are comfortable with nudity
