The show was enjoyable but average, they did not include the the audience in the show on stage like other luau I have been to. They brought you food at in trays instead of going up to a buffet and getting what you wanted and not getting what you didn’t. Food was way below average and in particular the pork was very dry. Nothing was enjoying food wise. This was a very expensive event to be so disappointed. To explain how bad it was I have been to may things I liked and didn’t like but this is the first review I’ve ever wrote

What a great Luau! The food was fantastic and plenty of it. They gave the kids temporary Polynesian Tatau’s and the fire dancing should not be missed! We can’t wait to go again!

This experience took our breath away. The entire evening was so well done, from the food, to the welcome drinks and cultural experiences. Everyone was welcoming and excited to have us. Watching the performers and musicians with the setting sun in the background is a visual I will simply never forget. Cannot recommend this experience enough, and will be doing back someday!

My husband and I thought this luau was better than the one we went to on the island of Oahu. The food was good, the entertainment and service was great and it was a beautiful setting. We would recommend this luau to anyone visiting Maui.

Beautiful setting until the sun set and it blocked being able to see the dancers at all. Food was very small (not like these pictures) small bites that were NOT very good and not interesting. I also thought the show was a little lack luster. I used to live in Maui and have been to A LOT of Luaus! I love them. I did NOT love this one! The open bar was great but NOT worth the Price !!!!

The view of the stage with the ocean backdrop was stunning, after the sun set. If you like a plate of different meats, that’s what was on the second course. It was not like the Feast of Lele, which I miss very much. The dancers were good but only a few. There was a lot of talking from the host, nice but too much.

The gold standard for Luau in Maui. The setting was magical and the Andaz venue indescribably beautiful. Amazing food which was adopted to zero sugar for my food restrictions. The show was spectacular with a beautiful Hawaiian sunset as the backdrop. A definite highlight of our visit to Maui for family vacation. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

After watching the performance, we felt it lacks of traditional dance. The costumes look too modern. The food looks yummy but not really tasty.

Is there any benefit of getting the premium seating ($250) vs the classic seating for $200?

Classic seating is enough. It's quite an intimate setting, the stage is raised and wherever you're seated, you'll have a good view. We paid for classic and we're seated right at the front.

We're going to be staying at the Andaz next month and saw they offered a luxury luau. The price is high at $200 pp and the website description on ohana style meal is very vague, what kind of food is served and what kind of cocktails or other drinks are available for that price?

The food wasn’t good. I saw guest of the Andaz watching from the pool area or from their own cabana. I would suggest doing dinner at a restaurant and reserving a Cabana to watch the show.
